HERO IN YOU SUMMER SPEAKER SERIES
The British Columbia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is set to host the first event in its HERO IN YOU SUMMER SPEAKER SERIES on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 1:00pm-2:00pm. BC Sports Hall of Famers Jim Taylor and Steve Armitage will be launching the series by sharing their unique take on sport in British Columbia having collectively worked in the sport media field for over 80 years.
July 16, 2008 is the first of the HERO IN YOU SUMMER SPEAKER SERIES which will take place every Wednesday of summer. To date the following speakers will be sharing their unique and inspiring stories as part of the series:

Jack Farley Award Recipients Announced!
The award is given to Grade 12 students who demonstrate high athletic ability, leadership, community service, and a high academic standing. The award is in its 15th year and many fine young people have received the award in the past.
You will be honoured for your achievement when this award is presented at the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Museum’s 38th Annual Banquet of Champions being held on Thursday, May 29th, 2008 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre.
